4种单体化合物对甜菜夜蛾嗅觉行为的影响
Olfactory Responses of Beet Armyworm to Four Mono-chemicals

Abstract
In this study,the olfactory responses of beet armyworm(Spodoptera exigua) females to four volatiles (hexanoic acid,nonanoic acid, hexanol and nonaldehyde) were determined using Y type olfactometer, and the optimal concentrations of four mono-chemicals were screened. The results showed that all of the four compounds detrimentally affected the olfactory behavior and had significantly repellent effects on the females. Hexanoic acid,nonanoic acid,hexanol and nonaldehyde displayed obvious repellent effects on S. Exigua at a concentration of 200 - 1 200 fold dilution, 10-1 000 fold dilution, 300 -500 fold dilution and 800 - 1 200 fold dilution, respectively. They showed the strongest repellent effects on S. Exigua,96% ,82% ,76% and 82% ,respectively, when diluted by 1 000 times, 500 and 800 times,500 times, and 1 000 times. Therefore, the four mono-chemicals have potential applications in control of S. Exigua.关键词
