摘要

Abstract

Maximum power point tracking(MPPT) can use the output power of the solar array in a maximum extent.The MPPT is especially beneficial to the deep space spacecraft because of its adaptibility to various changes of light intensity and temperature.The paper summarizes the topologies of space power system using MPPT and some foreign mission applications,such as Rosetta and MESSENGER spacecraft.The characteristics of MPPT topologies are analyzed,and the effects of space environment such as light intensity and temperature,load characteristics,and system stability on space power system are pointed out,which can be as a reference for the space power system design in Chinese deep space exploration.
