摘要

Abstract

There is surface charging when a spacecraft operates in the space environment.The electrostatic discharge induced by spacecraft surface charging is an important cause of spacecraft anomalies and failures.Therefore,we must take measures to control the surface potential of the spacecraft when we design and apply spacecraft.This paper presents the investigation of the active control of spacecraft surface charging potential by using a pulsed plasma source.Through simulation experiments and theoretical analysis,the feasibility and feature of using pulsed plasma source to control spacecraft surface potential are demonstrated,its control principle can be elucidated,and the control efficiency η or equivalent resistance R to explain the influence of various factors on surface potential control effect is also provided.It is proved that the active control of spacecraft surface potential is one of effective methods of spacecraft surface potential control.
