摘要

Abstract

The thermodynamic properties of NaCl-MgCl2-H2O-C3H6O system were studied by electromotive force(EMF) method in the cell without liquid junction. The EMF reading was carried out at different molalities of NaCl and MgCl2 in H2O-C3H6O mixture at 298. 15 K. The experimental data was fitted by Pitzer model. The standard electromotive force Er of the cell and activity coefficient of electrolyte were obtained. The Gibbs function of transfer for the electrolyte from H2O to H2O-C3H6O mixture was calculated, and Pitzer parameters θ( NaCl) and ψ(NaMgCl) were determined. The results from the activity coefficient of electrolyte in mixed solvent show that the system obeys Harned rule.
