Optimization of sensing time in cognitive radio systems
摘要
Abstract
Taking energy detection as the basic method of spectrum sensing and the average channel efficiency as the reference criterion for evaluating a cognitive radio system′s performance,the effect of sensing durations in different spectrum sensing stages on the sensing performance was analyzed in the context of multiple primary channels.The sensing durations that maximize the secondary user′s average channel efficiency were derived while providing the primary users with their desired level of interference protection.The theoretic analysis was verified by the simulation results.Results show that the secondary user can select the optimum sensing duration to optimize its average channel efficiency.关键词
