Abstract
The term of beamforming in the multiple antennas systems often causes confusion. Aiming at this, the principles of the beamforming in smart antenna system and multiple input multiple output（MIMO） system is summarized. The meanings of two kinds of beamforming are discriminated. And the difference and relation between these two kinds of beamforming are clarified too.关键词
