摘要

Abstract

Aptamers, generated by the SELEX ( systematic evolution of ligands by exponential enrichment) technology, are single stranded DNA or RNA molecules that can specifically bind to their targets with high affinity. Aptamers from Cell-SELEX are widely applied as targeting molecules in different fields, including the detection of cancer cells, targeted drug delivery systems and siRNA researches. Both in vivo and in vitro studies demonstrated that aptamers could be successfully used for in vitro cancer cells detecting, in vivo cancer imaging and enhancing the cytotoxicity of drugs or siRNAs towards cancer cells.
