Abstract
Impulse noise severely affects the reliability of PLC. For amplitude characteristics of impulse noise in power line communication channel, a modified Markov chain (peak-type Markov chain) is proposed. What's more, the traditional Markov chain model and the peak Markov chain model of impulse noise amplitude are established. By comparing the two models, it is found that the model from the peak Markov chain retains more characteristics of impulse noise amplitude, which makes it more consistent to the actual model. The established peak-type Markov chain model is used to simulate the amplitude sequence of power line's impulse noise, and the probability in the transition probability matrix is compared. The error is very small, indicating that the peak Markov chain is very suitable for establishing impulse noise amplitude model in power line communication channel.关键词
