Abstract
Shanghai Tower has a smooth warped surface as the outer surface contour which is formed by three filleted arcs contracting and rotating as the floor increases. The project uses a unique double-wall system, the outer of which adopts flexible zonal hanging system. In this paper the composition of Shanghai Tower' s curtain wall support structures is introduced first. Then two structural schemes in typical zone ( non-expansion joint scheme and expansion joint scheme ) in temperature sensitivity, torsion performance, deformation, vibration characteristics and construction convenience are compared. The advantages and disadvantages of both schemes are discussed. Finally a brief evaluation of the two schemes is conducted.关键词
