Study on Relationship Between Story Drift and Element Deformation for RC Shear Wall Structures
摘要
Abstract
The relationship between the element deformation and the story drift was studied to realize the application of story drift in performance - based seismic design of shear walls. Firstly, the equations to determine the relationship between the element deformation and the story drift was derived by elastic analysis. Secondly,the relationship between element deformation and the story drift at different performance level was studied on the basis of the elasto - plastic time history analysis of three shear wall structures with different stories. The equations for the relationship at inelastic stage were developed based on the statistical analysis of calculation results. The demands on the story drift can be converted into the deformation requirements for elements by using the proposed method conveniently.关键词
