Experiments on Mechanical Properties of T-Shape Perforated Rib Connector

Abstract
Connectors are key parts in steel-concrete composite structures to ensure steel and concrete can work together efficiently. The mechanical properties of different connections behave a larger difference and they affect the mechanical behavior of composite structures greatly. In this paper a new type connector, T-shape perforated rib connector, was presented, and its mechanical properties were tested by push-out tests. Comparing to the push-out test results of perfobond rib connector, the shear strength of T-shape perforated rib connector increased 20 percent than that of the perfobond rib connector, and the shear stiffness of T-shape perforated rib connector was larger than that of the perfobond rib connector, especially the slip corresponding to the ultimate load of T-shape perforated rib connector was 3. 5 times that of the perfobond rib connector.关键词
