Efficient Human Face Recognition Algorithm
摘要
Abstract
To effectively deal with face recognition problem, an efficient face recognition algorithm based on Local Fisher Discriminant Analysis(LFDA) and optimal Support Vector Machine(SVM) is proposed in this paper. By comprehensive consideration of local geometric structure and class information, the high dimensional face data are first mapped into lower dimensional feature space with LFDA so that the curse of dimensionality can be avoided, the optimal SVM that is trained by the multiplicative update rule is used to classify and recognize different face image herein. Experimental results on face image databases demonstrate that the proposed algorithm not only has fast running speed, but also achieves higher recognition accuracy.关键词
