摘要

Abstract

In order to cut down the energy consumption of the nodes and extend the lifetime of Wireless Sensor NetworkWSN), a power adaptation routing algorithm for WSN based on Ant Colony Optimization(ACO) is proposed. It takes the transmission direction of the nodes, residual energy and distance between nodes into account when ants find paths. After finding an optimal path, the transmission power of the nodes is adjusted according to the distance between two adjacent nodes to optimize the energy consumption. Simulation results indicate that the algorithm can effectively save network overhead and prolong the network lifetime when the nodes are distributed non-uniformly.
