摘要

Abstract

A set of root locus properties with respect to the time delay are derived in [1]. However, there exist mistakes in determining the direction which the root locus crosses the imaginary axis, terminating points of the root loci and asymptotes of the root loci. In this paper, methods to calculate the angles of departure and arrival of the root loci are proposed, also the mistakes found in [1] are corrected. Using the root locus properties, the stability delay interval of the closed-loop system is obtained.
