Abstract
Objective To evaluate nursing method for preventing and reducing the toxicities by observing adverse reactions of concurrent chemoradiotherapy for advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients. Methods Forty - six cases of advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma who received concurrent chemoradiotherapy were given psychological care, health education, functional exercises and discharge guidance at the same time. Adverse reactions were closely observed and corresponding measures were given when necessary. Results Forty - six advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients who received reasonable and effective nursing interventions prevented and reduced the serious adverse reactions brought by concurrent chemoradiotherapy, and all patients completed treatment. Conclusion Comprehensive and effective nursing intervention can help patients overcome serious toxicities caused by concurrent chemoradiotherapy, improve life quality, complete treatment, and improve tumor control rates and survival rate.关键词
