摘要

Abstract

Objective To observe the treatment of 18 - α glycyrrhizic acid (18 - α - GA) for chronic liver injury induced by CC1 4 in rats. Methods The rats were subcutaneously injected with 25% CCl4 in olive oilof 2 mL/kg for 13 weeks, twice one week. The treatment group in the fifth week was consecutively intraperitoneally injected 18 α - GA 15, 30, 60 mg/kg respectively, once a day to week 13. In 24 hours of the end time to18 - α - GA, the rats were put to death, blood serum or plasma were separated and the ALT, AST, total protein, albumin, globulin, saliva acid, nitric oxide and hyaluronic acid were detected. The content of hydroxyproline in liver tissue was determined and the pathological changes of liver tissues were examined. Results 18 - α - GA could improve liver function of chronic liver injury induced by CC14 in rats, decrease NO level, and reduce the activity of liver tissue inflammation and the progression of fibrosis. Conclusion 18 - α - GA might have cura-tive effect on chronic liver injury induced by CC14 in rats.
