Abstract
Every society builds on its traditional values,which forms the root of concept of privacy.Collectivism remains as the inherent values in Japan,and some western values of individualism is also highly respected in Japan.Interweaving of these two different values the Japanese hold a unique view on privacy.They advocate group privacy on one hand,and attach great importance to the protection of individual privacy on the other.关键词
