Full Vector Spectrum Plots:a New Signal Analysis Method for Rotating Machines
摘要
Abstract
The runup data analysis of rotating machines is an important method for understanding rotor′s dynamic characteristics and diagnosing faults.Considering the shortcomings of traditional transient analysis methods,such as Bode diagram,polar diagram,Campbell chart,etc,a novel method for analyzing transient signal-transient vector spectrum diagram is presented in this paper,based on the vector spectrum analysis technique.It is illustrated that the novel method is more accurate than Bode diagram in recognizing the critical speed and resonance region of the rotor system.Furthermore,the transient vector spectrum diagram can present more information than traditional transient analysis methods.The result provides with theory evidence for applying transient vector spectrum diagram to deal with transient data such as runup data.关键词
