Abstract
The defects producing in hemming process of Auto-body panel will affect the assembly quality of automobile.The main quality problems during the hemming process including indent,curling,warping and spring back of parts edge contour.In this paper,the numerical analysis of flat surface-arc contour edge sheet hemming process was carried out in order to conduct the geometrical and technical parameters on hemming quality during the flanging,pre-hemming and final hemming process.And further the indent and hemming force were compared with that obtained in flat face-straight contour edge hemming process.The result showed that the sheet hemming quality was closely related to the ratio of flange length and radius of sheet during the flat surface-arc contour edge sheet hemming process,and the creepage of out panel increased with the increasing of sheet radius and decreased with the increasing of flange length.关键词
