棉属GhPEPC1同源基因的克隆与进化分析
Cloning and Evolution Analysis of Homologous Sequences of GhPEPC1 Gene in Gossypium

Abstract
According to the open reading frame of GhPEPCl (GenBank Accession; AP008939) from GenBank, the complete sequences of PEPC homologous genes from 16 species in Gossypium were obtained by PCR technology. The comparison of PEPC homologous sequences indicated that the differences between the genes at nucleotide and amino acid levels were from 0. 3% to 9. 8% and from 0.2% to 18.8% respectively, except for G. Longicalyx. The evolutionary relationship was studied by using neighbor -joining (NJ) and minimum -evolution ( ME) trees which were structured by nucleotide sequence, the upland cotton and G. Barbadense, Levant cotton and Asian cotton, G. Thwberi and G. Raimondii were respectively clustered into the same class, which were consistent with the previous classification results of karyotype in Gossypium, and the results also indicated that the tetraploid cotton species might origin from G. Herbaceum and G. Thwberi.关键词
