摘要

Abstract

In order to compare surface brightness temperature difference inversion from high gain state data (6H) and low gain state data (6L) of Lansat-7 ETM + thermal infrared band, the radiation characteristics and some parameters such as useful temperature range of the thermal infrared band are firstly introduced, and brightness temperatures of the 6H and 6L from a scene of Lansat - 7 ETM + images are calculated, as well as a temperature difference image by subtraction 6Lg brightness temperatures from 6Hg. Then the spatial structure and statistical characteristics of above two surface brightness temperature images and the difference image between them are analyzed. Only slight difference lie between brightness temperature of the 6H and the 6L, and the larger difference lies at high temperature. The distribution of the positive and negative values of difference has no significant relationship with the value of temperature and the surface category. It is with slightly high sensitivity to inverse brightness temperature by 6H than by 6L, and with more wide temperature range to inverse by 6L than by 6H.
