Abstract
Objective: The aim of this study was to clarify whether the stress distribution differences in the superstructure of implants/tooth supported fixed partial denture (FPD) are related to implant length. Methods: A three-dimensional finite element model was established and loading of vertical force or buccolingual force were tested. The stress distribution of the superstructure of FPD supported by tooth-implant system with implants of different length, were analyzed by CT scanning. Results: The stress distribution values of implants decreased with the increasing of implants length. The peak value of the stress distribution in abutments with buccolingual loads was 4~6 times as much as it with vertical loads. Conclusion: Mechanic complication of superstructure could be reduced by increasing implants length. So, the further improvements of press resistance of abutments and reduce oblique loads are available.关键词
