Abstract
Objective: To assess the clinical outcomes of two non-surgical mechanical debridement methods of periimplantitis. Method:44 patients with one implant each, demonstrating peri-implantitis were randomized, and those treated either with hand-instruments or with an ultrasonic device were enrolled. Clinical parameters were recorded at baseline. 4 and 8 weeks respectively. Result: Sulcus Bleeding Indexes have significant decreased iP <0.05) in both groups, with no group differences. No differences in probing depth and the deepest probing depth were found over time in both groups. Conclusion: The clinical treatment results were limited and similar between both groups.关键词
