Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the apical sealing ability of different methods of root canal filling and different root canal sealer. Method: 150 recently extracted human teeth with single canal were divided randonmly into four experiment group (35 teeth of each) , in addition to positive and negative control group (5 teeth of each) .The root canals were instrumented using Pro-taper file with cortisomol with cold lateral condensation technique (A group). AH-plus with Obtura-Ⅱ technique (B group) . Cortisomol with cold lateral condensation (C group), AH-plus with Obtura-Ⅱ technique (D group) .The apical microleakage was evaluated by dye penetration method.Linear dye penetration was measured. Result: There was significant difference in leaked lengths between A group and B group. A group and C group,C group and D group (P <0.05),but no significant different between B group and D group(P >0.05). Conclusion: Obtura-Ⅱ technique show better apical sealing ability compared with cold lateral condensation technique.The root canals were better sealed with AH-plus than Cortisomol.关键词
