兔股骨头软骨下骨缺损表面积比与软骨塌陷预测的相关性研究
Correlation Study of Predicting the Collapse of Cartilage and Surface Area Ratio of Subchondral Bone Defect in the Femo ral Head of Rabbit

Abstract
Objective To investigate correlation between predicting the collapse of cartilage and surface area ratio of sub chondral bone defect. Methods 30 adult Chinese rabbits were selected. Rabbit patterns were made by different diameter loop drills, which were subchondral bone defect and cartilage collapse of femoral head. The animals were killed in 16' week after opera tion and were divided into 3 groups at random, whose diameter subchondral bone lesions were 4.0 mm, 5.0 mm, 6.0 mm respec tively in Group A, B and C, and left femoral head as control. We had observed the femoral heads'outward appearance, the color and luster smooth of articular cartilage, cartilage shape form, measured the degree and range of collapsed cartilage. The pathological changes of femoral head were observed under light microscope. Results Surface area ratio of subchondral bone defect was 0.085 ± 0.021 in group A, 0. 125 ±0.019 in group B, 0. 190 ±0.014 in group C. Sperman correlation analysis showed that in group A, group B and group C there was a positive correlation (r= -0.221, -0.321, -0.038, P =0.0310, 0.0092, 0. 0430). Gross obser vation showed that, in group A and B: articular surface of femoral heads was smooth, cartilage section and articular surrounding car tilage was in normal color; in group C; cartilage section collapsed to a certain degree, and cartilage section and articular surround ing cartilage were in grey white color, soft, not bright and with small flaws. Light microscope observation showed that in group A and B; there was osteoplast and mechanocyte in defect area; in group C: cartilage collapsed to various degrees, cartilage cell pu trescence was found in articular cartilage multiplication area, and there was endochondral bone in cartilage area. Pathological chan ges of the femoral head were divided into grade 0, grade Ⅰ, grade Ⅱ and grade Ⅲ, there were 3 cases, 5 cases, 2 cases, 0 case in group A respectively; there were 1 case, 2 cases, 5 cases, 2 cases in group B respectively; there were 0 case, 1 case, 2 cases, 7 cases in group C respectively. Conclusion The incidence rate of subchondral bone necrosis increased with the growth of the su face area of bone defects. If the surface area ratio of subchondral bone defect is over 0.190, the collapsing rate of the cartilage will increase definitely.关键词
