Abstract
Purpose To investigate the expression of Sema4D and vascular endothelial growth factor 2 ( VEGFR2 ) in colorectal adeno-carcinoma,and to explore their clinical significance. Methods The expression of Sema4D and VEGFR2 was determined by tissue mi-croarray and immunohistochemical staining in 115 cases of colorectal adenocarcinoma, 19 cases of colorectal adenoma and 12 cases of normal mucosa. The relationship between their expressions and the clinicopathologic parameters of the patients was analyzed. Results The positive expression of Sema4D in normal mucosa was 16. 67% , which had significant differences from 31. 58% in adenoma and 52. 17% in cancer specimens, and Sema4D was closely correlated to the Dukes stage and lymph node status( P <0. 05 ). Conclusion Sema4D and VEGFR2 may play an important role in the development of colorectal adenocarcinoma.关键词
