摘要

Abstract

According to relevance theory, combining the two characteristics of reasoning and context, this paper analyzes the substance of reading, pointing out that reading is authors' suggest and readers' reasoning. It is also the dynamic process supposed by readers with context. Therefore, in the teaching of higher vocational English Reading, teachers should guide students to apply cognitive context strategy flexibly for inferring authors' real purpose and understanding the connotation of articles correctly.
