摘要

Abstract

More and more research shows that the main pathway of methanogenesis was proceed by acetic acid degradation in the anaerobic fermentation reactor. Methanothrix often as the main methanogen. In this paper, acetate as carbon and energy substrate, Methanothrix was cultured in semi-continuous way, the effects of microelements on methane fermentation was analyzed. The results showed that by optimizing the culture medium concentration of microelements, methane production rate was increased 1.42 times and bacterial concentration was increased 1.61 times than before. The microelements had a remarkable effect on the production of methane by methanothrix ; The optimization effect of microelements was weakened when the acetic load is low. The microelements could adjuste or alleviate the inhibitory action of acetic load on the production of methane.
