The Relationship between Korean Revolutionary Party and French Concession of Shanghai in 1920-30——On the Basis of French Documents

Abstract
The French Concession of Shanghai did not protect all the revolutionary activities inside the Concession.In the Late Qing Dynasty,their protections for the revolutionaries inside the concession were a struggle against the efforts of the Chinese government to interfere with the rights of police in the concessions.During the Republican period,the central government of Beiyang bought the revolutionaries who took refuge inside the concessions on the price of offering lands for the expansion of concessions.With the expansion of Japanese forces in East Asia and protection of French interests,the Korean revolutionaries in the French Concession were sold to the Japanese in exchange for the Vietnamese revolutionaries in Japan.In a word,confronting with the political choice and temptation,the universal principle for French Concession of Shanghai is to optimize French interest in China and interest exchange.关键词
