摘要

Abstract

In order to expand the application of composite insulators,and based on the calculation and experiment results carried out in this paper,the mechanical characters of the insulator under static and dynamic loads in the daily operation were studied.The results show that the mechanical properties of the insulator under common static and dynamic loads in the UHV and EHV transmission lines could not be changed distinctly,and thus the qualified composite insultor with proper configuration can be used on the heavy load and tension towers.
