Fire Safety Design Strategies in the Atrium of Large Shopping Malls
摘要
Abstract
With the development of urbanization in China, the construction of large shopping mall is in a stage of rapid development. Through case analysis method, this paper combines the existing building fire safety design specifications, with the case studies of four large shopping malls’ fire safety design and specific features. Cases were designed from conventional means of fire protection and performance-based fire safety strategies to show the intrinsic relationship between the spatial form and fire design strategies. Fire safety design strategies were proposed on different spatial patterns and layouts of different large-scale shopping centers.关键词
