Abstract
Robert Maynard Hutchins is a famous American educational reformer and thinker in 20th century who has formed distinctive higher education ideology with General Education as the core , which is based on abundant educational practice. General Education, the important part of higher education , has played an positive role in languishing eternal humanity, enhancing all-round development and cuhivating humanistic spirit. Its significance and importance have been paid more and more attention and it has also provided inspiration and reference for higher education in our country.关键词
