摘要

Abstract

The issue of coverage problem in wireless multimedia sensor networks ( WMSNs) is studied. Due to the limitations of application environments and deployment methods, it is difficult to place all sensor nodes to appropriate positions,which will cause a great deal of monitoring overlapping and blind area. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out some coverage enhancing processes to improve monitoring quality after the network is deployed. This paper studies on this, and proposes a coverage enhancing algorithm called QCACE. Based on directional sensing model,QGACE uses a quantum genetic algorithm and adjusts locations and directions of sensors simultaneously. Simulation shows that QGACE improves the coverage efficiently.
