Abstract
Inter-simple sequence repeat markers have emerged as an alternative system with reliability and advantages of microsatellites（SSR）.ISSR primer can be designed without the knowledge about microsatellite regions,and simple design.ISSR marker has good poly morphism and repetition and can provide more information.Its technique has been widely used in the studies of genetic mapping,germplasm identification,gene mapping,genetic diversity in plant.Reviev of the principle and characteristics of ISSR and its application in crop genetics and breeding in this paper.关键词
