摘要

Abstract

Because of the demands from resources, environment and sustainable development, the renewable, degradable and environmental - friendly materials have gained more and more attentions and increasing studies are reported these days. Natural polymer materials have good biodegradability, biocompatibility and other advantages, causing the great attention of people. However, in the process, use and storage of the natural materials, various changes will occur in them. Yellowing is the result of changes in polymer structure, which affects the appearance of polymer materials. It is a signal of the performance deterioration. In this paper, research progress on the yellowing of natural polymer materials is summarized, with the yellowing mechanism and the possible measures to reduce the yellowing included.
