摘要

Abstract

Six traits, including leaf margin type, stem diameter, leaf length, leaf width, thorn length and space between thorns of the longest leaves of the 120 hybrid F, pineapple plants from the cross of Smooth Cayene (Smooth Cayene group) xComte de Paris (Queen group)were analyzed in this study. The results showed that leaf margin (smooth or thorny)segregated at Mendelian ratio of 1:1 in the F1 seedlings. This implied that leaf margin type was a qualitative trait controlled by a single gene. However, the values of the stem diameter, leaf length, leaf width, thorn length and the space between thorns of the longest leaves showed continuous distributions, indicating that these traits were quantitative. Significant positive correlations were observed among the stem diameter, leaf length and leaf width, but there was no significant correlation between thorn length and space between thorns of the longest leaves.
