摘要

Abstract

Dysmicoccus neobrevipes (Beardsley)is a polyphagous insect. Four host plants including Agave sisalana, Agave Americana var marginata, Opuntia dillenii and Musa balbisiana were used to rear the Dysmicoccus neobrevipes (Beardsley) under constant temperature (25 t) in the laboratory, and the tables of its population in these hosts were set up. The influences of different host on the development duration and the number of eggs laid per female were observed. The population trend indices (I) were 73.313, 65.378, 41.689, 65.262. Among the test host plants, Agave sisalana. Agave Americana var marginata and Musa balbisiana were the most favorable host phants for Dysmicoccus neo6re?ipes(Beardsley) .
