摘要

Abstract

High purity nano-silica sol was prepared using tetraethoxysilane ( TEOS) -water-alcohol system catalyzed with microwave irradiation, and then high purity nano-silica powder prepared using the silica sol by ultrasonic vibration and high temperature sintering furnace. Reaction of alkoxysilane generate to TEOS. A high purity free-catalyst silica sol was obtained in less than 30 min, and total metal impurities of silica sol are not more than 300 ×10-6 mg/L. Furthermore, the products were characterized using a transmission electron microscope, a scanning electron microscope, Energy Dispersive Spectrometer, X-ray diffraction, and an inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer, Fourier Transform infrared spectroscopy, Zetasizer 3000HS and FT-Raman Spectrometer.
