TiO2/SiO2纤维的表征及其光催化活性
Characterization and Photocatalytic Activities of TiO2/SiO2 Fibers

Abstract
TiO2/SiO2 fibers were successfully prepared by sol-gel method and centrifugal spinning, using TiCl4 as the titanium source and acetylacetone as chelating agent. The structures and properties of the samples were characterized by XRD, FE-SEM, FT-IR and DSC-TG. The results indicated that SiO2-doping could inhibit the grain growth and phase transformation of TiO2 fibers. The average size of the TiO2 grains within the pure TiO2 fibers and the 15wt% SiO2-doped TiO2/SiO2 fibers heat-treated to 700 ℃ is 32.4 nm and 7.6 nm, respectively. The average diameter of TiO2/SiO2 fibers is in the range of 10 ~20 μm and a large amount of nano-pores distribute on the fibers'surface. The effects of SiO2-doped amount and heat-treatment temperature on the photocatalytic activities of the prepared TiO2 fibers were investigated by degrading the active brilliant red X-3B dye aqueous solution. Results show that the proper SiO2-doped amount is 15wt% and the proper heat-treatment temperature is 700 ℃ holding for 2 h.关键词
