Influence of Strong Electron Correlation on the Jahn-Teller Effects in Doped Manganese Perovskites
摘要
Abstract
The electronic structure of La0.75Ca0.25 MnO3 was studied with the density functional method. By analyzed the influences of Jahn-Teller effects and strong electron correlation on electronic structure and physical characteristics, this paper proposed that the JT distortion will be suppressed by the strong electron correlation in doped manganese perovskites. The ground state becomes more stable as the on-site Coulomb energy U increase.关键词
