摘要

Abstract

A variety of two-dimensional plasma photonic crystals with different symmetries were obtained by self-organization of filaments in air dielectric barrier discharge using two planar water electrodes. The plasma photonic crystals undergo a transition from triangular lattice to square lattice as the applied voltage increasing. Based on the data measured in experiment, the changes of the band structures of the plasma photonic crystals during the transition were studied by means of plane wave expansion method. A new kind of tunable plasma photonic crystal produced in air discharge is suggested.
