Growth and Basic Properties of Near-stoichiometric 7LiNbO3 Crystal
摘要
Abstract
For further investigation on the defects structure of lithium niobate crystal by neutron scattering technique, a near-stoichiometric isotope 7IiNb03 crystal was successfully grown by Czochralski method from a 58.5% 7Li melt with raw materials of Nb2O5 and 7LiOH. The weight of the as-grown crystal is about 35 g, the density at room temperature is 4. 634 g/cm , the melting point obtained from analysis of differential scattering calorimetry and thermalgravimetric ( DTA/TG) is 1223 t, and the crystal weight exhibits no variation over the room temperature to 1250 t. The average transmittance in the range of 500-3200 nm is approach to 74% , the OH" absorption peak is located at 2877 nm, and the 7Li content of the crystal judged from UV absorption edge method is 49.46%. The refractive index determined at 633 nm wavelength on c-cut slip is no =2. 2872 ,ree =2.1909.关键词
