Electrical Resistance of Self-consolidating Concrete Containing Carbon Nanofibers

Abstract
Fiber reinforced concrete is a hot issue in the research of high functional and high performance cement-based composite today.Carbon nano-fiber(CNF) has many advantages in both mechanical and electrical properties.The static electrical resistance of self-consolidating concrete(SCC) and carbon nano-fiber self-consolidating concrete(CNFSCC) was measured and their electrical resistance variation(ERV) was experimentally investigated under compression test,split tensile test and four-point bending test.It was found that the electrical conductivity of CNFSCC improved compared with plain SCC and the linear relationship between ERV and strain(stress) or deformation could be established.Therefore,it is feasible and attractive to make smart concrete using CNFs in SCC.关键词
