MTHFR C677T基因多态性与川北地区食管癌易感性关系的研究
Relationship between MTHFR C677T polymorphisms and susceptibility of esophageal cancer in north Sichuan population

Abstract
Objective To investigate the gene polymorphism of methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase ( MTHFR) C677T and its association with susceptibility to esophageal cancer ( EC) in north Sichuan population. Methods The MTHFR C677T genotypes were detected by a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) -based restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) assay in 100 patients with EC and 97 population cancer-free controls in north Sichuan population. Results The frequencies of MTHFR genotypes,677CC,677CT,677TT were 37. 0%、45.0% 、18. 0% in patients with EC,and 41. 2% ,42. 3% ,16. 5% in controls respectively , no statistical difrerence between them was found ( % = 0. 829, P > 0. 05 ) . Conclusion There may be no relationship between MTHFR C677T polymorphisms and susceptibility of esophageal cancer in north Sichuan population.关键词
