Abstract
Objective: To observe the clinical side effects of nimotuzumab combined with chemoradiotherapy for locally advanced esophageal cancer patients, thus put forward effective nursing measures. Methods; Fifty-two patients with advanced esophageal cancer confirmed by pathology accepted nimotuzumab combined with intensity modulated irradiation and concurrent chemotherapy. Patients received psychological care before treatment. Strict administration of medicine, close observation and evaluation of side effects were required during the whole process. Timely and targeted intervention were given to all patients. Results; Ten patients achieved CR, 36 achieved PR with the total efficiency of 88.46%. The main side effects included blood pressure decline, dizziness, fever, rash, nausea, vomit, myole suppress ion and radiation esophagitis. Under timely and effective nursing intervention in treatment, all patients successfully finished the whole therapeutic schedule. Conclusion; The side effects are tolerable for locally advanced esophageal cancer patients who accept nimotuzumab combined with chemoradiotherapy. Positive and effective nursing interventions can reduce side effects, promote the successful completion of treatment as well as improve life quality.关键词
