Abstract
The concept of Enhanced Geothermal System(EGS) is proposed based on the dry hot rocks technology.Hydraulic fracturing has become one of the effective methods for establishing artificial geothermal reservoir to explore underground hot dry rock energy.In this paper,utilization of TOUGH2 code for simulating EGS is explored.We also introduce the fracture network simulation approaches in the process of hydraulic fracturing.Conceptual models for the fracture flow of an EGS are investigated.The most common models include discrete fracture,dual-porosity,dual permeability,Multiple Interacting Continua(MINC) and Effective Continuum(ECM).These models use different schemes in treatment of fracture and matrix for numerical simulation.It is very flexible in selecting the fracture treatment methods or combination of different methods based on the permeability of the matrix rock and other properties of the fractured rock.In this paper,several effective combination conceptual models are proposed.关键词
