Abstract
Objective To investigate the status of quality of life of female patients with condyloma acuminatum and the related influence factors, providing theoretic basis for personal and individual medical nursing. Methods A total of 200 female patients with condyloma acuminatum were recruited from 7 hospitals in Shaoxing from January to September 2011. They were investigated by General Survey and Spanish Acronym for the Specific Questionnaire for Condyloma Acuminatum ( CECA10 ). Results All patients got low scores on every item of CECA10 and dimensions of emotion and sexual health. Meanwhile, some factors, such as age, education background, career, marriage and lesion number, affected their sexual health significantly (P <0.05). Conclusion The quality of life of female patients with condyloma acuminatum is very low. With age and changes in marriage and disease, their general quality of life, especially emotion and sexual health, is seriously affected. The nurses should provide proper psychological support and education to improve their life quality.关键词
