Abstract
This paper briefly introduced the origination, main features and production statement of traditional rod weave velvets, compared the different production technology of plain velvet and jacquard napped velvet. Especially, introduced the handicraft and reproduction of Zhuanghua velvet which combining the"dig flower" skill of Yun brocade, the fictitious weft napping handicraft of velvet and warp tying technique of Song brocade. This handicraft is a crystallization of the development of a variety of traditional weaving techniques.关键词
