摘要
Abstract
The Event Data Recorders (EDR)on motor vehicles has significance for road accident reconstruction and causes analysis. In this article, the discussion about EDR' s role and importance of road accident investigation is done based on the equipment structure and working mechanism of the onboard data recorder. With the understanding of the implementation of EDR in the US and Europe with higher vehicle safety, the strategy orientation of developing EDR in China is proposed to be primarily set, after the comparison among the different recording equipments. Afterwards the EDR application outlook and standardization tendency are made. The potential challenges during the promotion are forecasted and the solutions are drafted as well.关键词
