Multi-guide particle swarm optimizer for optimal operation of cascaded hydropower plants
摘要
Abstract
This paper develops an optimal operation model by the criterion of maximizing the cascaded hydropower plants' total benefit that becomes a pursuit of the hydropower companies in the deregulated power market,and presents a multi-guide particle swarm optimizer for realization of the optimization.To improve the PSO convergence that is much poorer at the late stage of iteration,we introduce a multi-guide set into the group best selection,and propose a comprehensive learning policy for the personal best selection of each particle.This new approach is verified with an application to a real cascaded power system on a river in southwest China,and the results show its great competitiveness against the existing methods.关键词
